4/21/23: HISTORY DEFEATS ITSELF W/ ANTHONY RUSSO

Whenever I am at a loss for words about what is happening in this country and in this world — I like to find parallels in History and when I study and prepare for my shows I often stumble upon quotes from the founding fathers that never cease to impart wisdom.

George Washington — the father of our country said:

“If freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”

I again speak about how it has always been the bad guys in history that have restricted free speech. Now we face a big challenge as the Restrict Act is well on its way to shut down free speech and quite possibly curtail the narratives the World prepares for the ultimate showdown.

I come to this hypothesis based on the idea that whenever a government wishes to make an oppressive move against its people it is because changes are coming that will cause dissent — and dissent begins with speech, art, and the ability to publish about crimes against humanity.

Totalitarian governments thrive with a silent, compliant, oblivious citizenry. What the First Amendment affirms is an engaged citizenry that speaks truth to power using whatever peaceful means are available to us.

Speaking one’s truth doesn’t have to be the same for each person, and that truth doesn’t have to be palatable or pleasant or even factual.

Yes — God forbid you to have the ability to express anger or even lie.

The deep state can only allow those in charge to push their aggressive and criminal activity. They lie every day but hey the cult of identity politics tells you to ignore it.

Both the left and the right back up the lies they tell themselves about the criminals they excuse.

The most controversial issues of our day—race, religion, sex, sexuality, politics, science, health, government corruption, police brutality, and Black Lives Matter have become ironically battlegrounds for those who claim to believe in freedom of religion, speech, assembly, press, redress, privacy, and bodily integrity, but only when it favors the views and positions they support.

There is a vast difference between speech that is socially unpopular and speech that is illegal, and it’s an important distinction that depends on our commitment to safeguarding a robust First Amendment.

In more and more cases, the government is declaring war on what should be protected political speech whenever it challenges the government’s power, reveals the government’s corruption, exposes the government’s lies, and encourages the citizenry to push back against the government’s many injustices.

there is a long and growing list of the kinds of speech that the government considers dangerous enough to red flag and subject to censorship, surveillance, investigation and prosecution: hate speech, conspiratorial speech, treasonous speech, threatening speech, inflammatory speech, radical speech, anti-government speech, extremist speech, etc.

In recent years, the government has used the phrase “domestic terrorist” interchangeably with “anti-government,” “extremist” and “terrorist” to describe anyone who might fall somewhere on a very broad spectrum of viewpoints that could be considered “dangerous.”

Increasingly, however, the courts and the government are doing away with that critical distinction, adopting the mindset that speech is only permissible if it does not offend, irritate, annoy, threaten someone’s peace of mind, or challenge the government’s stranglehold on power.

We are now seeing a war for the mind –and prosecution for various thought crimes — as Orwellian as it may sound, this is the present that we have allowed to happen without even a fight.

We have ignored history and the various tyrants of the past that first destroyed freedoms like speech and oppression, and then disarmed their people as they are seen as enemies.

Why?

Because they are about to embark on a deadly war.

Declaring war on the world — to wipe the slate clean and eliminate those that are aware of past histories.

It is obvious that the so-called RESTRICT Act is being put into play because it establishes a risk-based process, tailored to the rapidly changing technology and threat environment, by directing the Department of Commerce to identify and mitigate foreign threats to information and communications technology products and services.

The internet has become a forum for the government—and its corporate partners—to monitor, control and punish the populace for speech that may be controversial but is far from criminal.

Everything is now fair game for censorship if it can be construed as hateful, hurtful, bigoted or offensive provided that it runs counter to the established viewpoint.

The biggest threat to the establishment is what they are calling conspiracy theory.

The United States of America was founded on a conspiracy theory.

In the lead-up to the War of Independence, revolutionaries argued that a tax on tea or stamps is not just a tax, but the opening gambit in a sinister plot of oppression. The signers of the Declaration of Independence were convinced — based on “a long train of abuses ” — that the King George III of Great Britain was conspiring to establish “an absolute Tyranny” over the colonies.

We now seem to see a plot for King Charles III and his friends at Davos conspiring to take over the United States with his friends from Davos — the World economic forum and their fourth industrial revolution.

Their plan of action appears to be dropping the dollar as the kingpin currency– In God we trust is a great faith-based slogan on the dollar but a nation that ping pongs between Trump and Biden is not a nation to be taken seriously.

I would say that many Americans don’t even take Washington DC seriously. These other countries see America as ungovernable and we make ourselves low lying fruit to be plucked for the New World Order.

This is history rhyming at its best with another open conspiracy where not only are countries ganging up against the United States — but they are also ganging up on the very spiritual fabric of what is left of Christianity.

This was bound to happen as Americans are still hell-bent on fighting amongst themselves and they are caught in the middle of what can be called a soft civil war.

We are now hearing of looting mobs that raid supermarkets and people being shot on their doorsteps and others being shot at random while driving to work or school and when they get to work or school they are met with active shooters that have been emptying guns into innocent people that just wanted to get through their day.

We are hearing of various acts of sabotage, from factories to chemical plants, to food distributors and dairies. We rack it up as random chance — but the reality is right in our faces.

The war is here at home — not just between political tribes but there are agencies and agents that have been set up within our borders to commit crimes and acts of war against American citizens.

Last Monday it was revealed that there was a confirmed secret police station in New York City set up on behalf of the Chinese government, and about three dozen officers with China’s national police force were charged with using social media to harass dissidents inside the United States,

The cases are part of a series of Justice Department prosecutions in recent years aimed at disrupting Chinese government efforts to locate in America pro-democracy activists and others who are openly critical of Beijing’s policies and to suppress their speech.

This sends a message that is loud and clear — Chinese operatives are here within our borders and with a lack of District Attorneys willing to prosecute in liberal states these crimes will continue.

We are in trouble.

It is such a mountain of troubles that American have no alternative but to stand their ground against out-of-control tyranny.

School teachers and professors are now teaching less History and English and the curriculum is replacing them with women’s studies, queer studies, and ethnic studies as well as the transformation of English and history into tools for the left’s vision of social justice.

It is also not farfetched to suspect that teachers and professors might be allowing the humanities and social studies to wither because it is a roadblock to the woke revolution they are advancing.

We are realizing that our children are being molded into woke activists and that the curriculum is now indoctrinating children with Marxist views.

English and history have always had an inherent conservative streak: They are, almost by definition, backward-looking disciplines.

They have sought to conserve and thereby connect students with what can be called “the best that has been thought and known.”

the history of ancient Greece and Rome and the art of the Renaissance, reading Shakespeare, Tolstoy, Austen, Ellison, and, of course, the Bible, shows us how our ancestors’ decisions shaped our world while providing wisdom as we confront the great question: How can I lead a good life?

How can we learn from the mistakes of history and become better for it?

This mindset is problematic for the woke revolution and those who wish to cancel thought or even suppress free speech.

It holds that there is no abiding human nature or human condition; people are blank slates upon which society stamps ideas, it is like we are now being conditioned to believe that government-appointed experts are there to tell us how to behave instead of teaching the lessons of past experience.

In order to control thought, language, and reality itself, the left supporters of Woke or the suppressive tactics must strip people of the ability to evaluate the future plans it is peddling through reference to past experience.

Those who do not remember what happened last week, last year, or a century ago are much easier to manipulate.

This is why there is a concerted effort to delegitimize the past by portraying it as a parade of horrible events. History is the story of shocking cruelty; classic books are instruments to oppress marginalized groups– they must be burned as heresy. They must be banned so that no one gets any idea that there is a conspiracy to destroy America and what it once stood for.

There seems to be no problem in breeding a functional dystopia.

If you have never even been exposed to the idea that capitalism is the most liberating force in human history, the prime vehicle through which common people were able to gain wealth and power and replace authoritarian aristocracies with democratic forms of governance, then it is easy to be convinced it is simply a “tool of oppression.”

If you do not know that the American Revolution was fought for human freedom, then you might accept the risible claim of the New York Times’ 1619 Project, that its goal was the preservation of slavery.

If literature and history are just cautionary tales of humanity’s wretchedness, if they are not sources of truth and beauty, but expressions of power and will, then why bother studying them?

History does not provide many bright lines. It is far easier to identify correlation than causation in its movements.

But as we consider the plummeting interest in the study of English and history, we should note how helpful this is to the forces of the neoliberals, who control our colleges and universities.

The less we know about the past, the more we can shape the future.

Better to cull the elderly through biological warfare so that the young will not be taught that through adversity we were able to thrive.

The young are being taught that this volatile change is the result of nationalist evil rebelling against beneficial change — that is the promise of freedom from Democratic socialism, stakeholder capitalism or Communism.

It is in preparation for the Transhuman fourth industrial revolution.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is a term used to refer to the next generation of technological advances; where it is anticipated that the differences between physical, digital and biological technologies disappear.

This is a world where machines and computers evolve independently, where new biological entities and evolutionary changes are being controlled by artificial intelligence, where brain waves can be manipulated. It is, quite literally, a brave new world.

Religion, which was once called the opiate of the masses, will be replaced y mind control and the internet of bodies. People will be told to not leave their 15-minute smart cities patrolled by Robot dogs and monitored by cameras hidden in LED blue light.

It is a world where transhumanism has become a reality. The boundaries between man and machine are blurred.

The old histories will be erased and the new so-called liberation will be the Chinese model of government where the country becomes more of a prison, where you will own nothing and be happy.

To get an idea of how the WEF is using Industry 4.0 now, take the example of smart cities. The WEF is using of the threat of “climate change “to drive the development and State/business endorsement of smart cities. These are proposed to be run by the World Economic Forum, the UN and other entities. They will be directed by police forces that could be from any country.

The ability to track and control all peoples in a city, to control crime, carbon credits, food, transport, etc. is a future most do not wish to participate in.

Preparations for these moves are now being made in secret, and money is being funneled in for improvements to the transportation systems to accommodate a greener and more energy-efficient world.

The Young Global Leaders have now infiltrated politics in the USA. They have sailed into cabinets all over the world.

Trainees and WEF members who are in politics in the USA, and particularly those who have been used to “penetrate the global cabinets of countries” should be forced to register as foreign agents within their host countries.

The WEF has helped mastermind the globally harmonized planning, development and implementation of the lockdowns, mandates, authoritarian vaccine campaigns, suppression of early treatment options, global targeting of dissenting physicians, censorship, propaganda, information and thought control programs which we have all experienced since late 2019.

It is literally destroying the morale of this country — bringing it into a state of cognitive dissonance. It is difficult to act when everything is there to overwhelm you with every poly-crisis.

This is precisely what conspiracy theories thrive. But it is now a pejorative term used by the government that is equivalent to lying or creating Fake news,

“Conspiracy theory” is really just an opinion that the state does not wish anyone to either hold or express.

The RESTRICT proposes to exploit alleged threats and legitimate safety concerns for the purpose of censoring free speech and freedom of expression.

Not only is censorship legislation emerging in the US, but it is also appearing simultaneously across the world.

Every country that considers itself a democracy wishes to impose restrictions on the Internet and the flow of information.

The bottom line is that governments wish to attack “independent media and journalism” and silence “marginalized groups.”

It is vital that at this moment in time, you should give your support to people who work hard to bring the information that you want and need — because there might be a time when people will have to fight hard to get people truth– a truth that may be uncomfortable to governments that are imposing tyranny.

How can anyone stand idly by and allow for the relentless push for greater state surveillance and censorship?

Disinformation” is information deliberately intended to deceive. If a global news corporation reports on an event without any investigation or reporting of the evidence, it is reasonable to consider this reporting “disinformation.”

The intent is obviously to deceive the public into believing that the balance of evidence supports the report. It is “deliberately” misleading.

Just like last night when I reported the huge explosion in Ukraine — the immediate response from European media was confusing — and the mainstream media in the US neglected to report it.

This speaks loud and clear that whatever happened– it was important to pretend it did not happen.

People are using the internet to discuss a whole range of issues that the state would prefer they did not. As a result, governments across the world are racing to seize control of the open and free exchange of information. The state and its propagandists are genuinely “undermining democracy.”

In order to justify their censorship agenda, propagandists need to manufacture compelling stories to convince people to abandon democratic principles and give up their right to free speech and expression.

To be clear: anyone, from any ethnic, political or social group, may have opinions that question official government narratives or policy decisions. These opinions are widely held across society. There is not, nor has there ever been, any such thing as a “conspiracy theorist community.” Nor is there any plausible evidence to indicate that a higher percentage of the population questions the state today than in any previous generation.

The only substantive difference to have emerged in recent years is that people have more freedom to discuss their opinions and potentially broaden the debate about the role of government.

It is this that the state fears.

But here is a fact in closing — something you need to keep in mind.

The population of the United States has never been asked what they want.

Evil tyrannical systems never ask, they only force their ways, then lie that it’s the will of the people. That it is for the greater good.

Authoritarians say you are crazy if you criticize them or question their authority. They gaslight you in order to make you crazy.

If you believe their words, you’re likely to become insane, because their words are insane.

Authoritarians scare you so that you get off balance, and they feed you with blatant lies so that your logic doesn’t work. They are very crafty, and some of them know how to do it with a smile, with kind words, when in fact they just want to kill you.

Here, take this poison. It’s for your own good. It’s for the betterment of everyone. Shut up and be happy — the safety you have begged for has now become mandatory.

Wear a mask it is your responsibility to not murder others with your filthy disease, “We your caring government were involved with releasing this virus, controlling it and manipulating you with the threat of death” and what are you aiming to do about it?

Talk it to death? You won’t even fight and we know it.

It makes you a good person if you do what you are told. It will save you, it will save us and the economy and the universe!

The people who do the most harm to society are not just the psychopaths that rule over us, but their enablers, those who do the dirty work, and virtue signal how good they are.

The illogical practice of simply ruling out evidence that doesn’t fit the narrative is what enables defenders of the Establishment to dismiss everything that contradicts their opinions. They can apply the “conspiracy theory” label as a device to ignore evidence and thus maintain preferred narratives and “opinions” that are not evidence-based.

Theories are constructed from all the available evidence. Including backward thinking into history and the stories of bith the losers and the victors.

This is achieved by evaluating both the supporting and the contradicting evidence. This is the only way known to humanity for discovering facts and, ultimately, with any luck, the truth.
