In what we now call the apocalypse many people are open to paranormal experiences and some individuals have been unlucky enough to encounter what are known as fallen characters or shadowy archetypes that have been spoken of by Carl Jung. The ruling religious and dogmatic know that in this time Satan, demons, and other nefarious beings indicate spiritual realities.

We can argue that the demon haunted world we live in is the result of the prophets and authors who have warned us for time ad infinitum of powers which exist in the darkness and while magic is being embraced by the younger generations, the older generations worry that the dabbling in such powers can only lead to destruction and harm.

As millennials continue to leave traditional Christian religions, interest in Wiccan and pagan practices have seen increased interest in recent years, a trend also spotted among young people and on college campuses.

Pagan or Wiccan student groups are present on a number of college campuses, both secular and religious, across the nation. The growing normalization of such practices, albeit still a minority, corresponds with the decline in Christian believers

A recent report in Market Watch headlined “Why millennials are ditching religion for witchcraft and astrology” argues as much, for example.

The article also cites recent Pew Research Center data that found 25 percent of Americans now identify with no religion, as opposed to 2011’s 18 percent.

If you don’t believe the poll, I have something that might change your mind.

Last month, I was working in my office of the flagship radio station I broadcast out of when I heard a person that sounded upset just outside my door. Apparently, a new salesperson was hired and as she was getting settled in her new cubicle she opened the drawer of her desk and inside it next to the push pins and stapler were two very strange looking dolls.

An office email went out asking if anyone knew anything about the dolls. Of course I was asked about them and I said that I had never seen anything like them before. What was troubling was that the dolls looked very much like Voodoo dolls and so this is why the salesperson was upset.

In a way I was upset as well, because the dolls had no faces and they while they resembled voodoo dolls I realized that they weren’t voodoo dolls at all.

I thought it was kind of creepy to have these types of dolls just turn up, and that I was called to try and figure out just what the dolls were and why they ended up discarded in an old desk.

I guess the salesperson or whoever else occupied the desk before her had no problem with having these strange dolls in the drawers hidden in his or her desk.

I was asked if I wanted them.

I said sure with a bit of trepidation. I then showed them to Ron Patton, the executive producer of my show and he didn’t like the looks of them and he didn’t want them anywhere near the office.

I told him he was acting silly, because we had perched in the window a haunted doll that we affectionately called “The Little Dutch Creep.”

He was a doll that I inexplicably inherited during a Christmas party. I was told that the little Dutch boy doll had a tendency to move on his own and that his mouth moved at times looking as if he was trying to speak.

We actually used him on a show and tried to communicate with it to see if it really wanted to speak. We actually rigged a cell phone to the doll and he in explicably talked through the phone into an amplifier and it was chilling to hear what he had to say.

The new dolls that I inherited are not anything like Little Dutch Creep.

After looking at them and trying to figure out what they are, I accidentally found an image of similar dolls – the dolls are called Poppets.

Poppets are similar to Voodoo dolls and are used in Image or associative magic rituals.

A poppet is a life-like figure or doll made to represent a person or animal and is used in ritual, magic and spell-craft to effect change through the application of sympathetic or imitative magic (see Sir James George Frazer below).

Sympathetic magic works on the principles of “similarity” and “associated contact” (i.e. like attracts and effects like). It is based on the belief that someone or something can be magically affected by doing something to an object in one place, that represents a person or thing in another place. To achieve this, a poppet is made as a representation of a person or thing and contains items associated with or belonging to that same person or object. Once made and magically charged, any action performed upon the poppet, is thought to cause or effect a similar reaction on the person or object it represents.

The use of poppets in witchcraft and magic is an age-old practice, but their potential uses have long been closely guarded secrets, and as such there are an abundance of myths, folklore and superstition surrounding their use. For example, in more recent times, poppets have been negatively.

During the witch hysteria of the 17th century, at the infamous trial of the Lancashire Witches in 1612, Old Mother Demdike confessed and described the quickest way to murder someone by witchcraft as: “…to make a Picture of clay, like unto the shape of the person whom they mean to kill, and dry it thoroughly: and when they would have them to be ill in any one place more than another; then take a Thorn or a Pin, and prick it in that part of the body to consume away, then take that part of the Picture, and burn it. And when they would have the whole body to consume away, then take the remnant of said Picture and burn it: and so thereupon by that means, the body shall die.”

The basic idea is that using some object to represent a victim, what is done to the object is done to the victim. This practice goes all the way back to Ancient Egypt.

For best results, it is suggested that the practitioner use a personal belonging of the victim’s that has their vibes on it to construct the poppet. A photo, a small article of clothing, car keys, small personal possessions, hair, fingernail clippings, sexual fluids, or even dirt taken from a footprint can be used. There are endless possibilities, as long as the article has a close connection in some way with the enemy.

Poppets were often constructed from wax or clay anciently. Wax can be hard to work with. It is best to construct the image to be sturdy and not soft, if you plan to inflict any serious damage. The poppet is suggested to be constructed to take abuse.

What is important is that if you use them to create curse or a hex , the right amount of focusing and hatred goes into the working. Driving a nail into its head will cause insanity. Driving a nail into the heart, with the right kind of focus and intensity, will cause death if done with enough intensity and the operator’s aura is powerful enough. Burying the image in the ground will cause the person to waste away as the image rots in the ground.

Take whatever you have and use it in the construction of the image. Clothing articles may have to be cut to size. What is left over can be saved for the ritual working.

A doll can be sewn and stuffed with what you have obtained.

Wax, clay or the like can be molded and blended with pieces of the victim’s personal belongings. While constructing this image, chant aloud, or inside your head, the name of the enemy it represents, over and over as long as it takes to complete the image.

Like any ritual tool, once made, the poppet needs to be consecrated, named and dedicated to the work in hand, then infused with personal energy to bring into force your intentions. Sometimes this is be done by breathing life into the poppets mouth through a straw. In this way the poppet takes on a magical life of its own, which activates the spell or working.

Depending on the type of spell being worked, be it to curse, heal, harm or bind, various actions are performed on the poppet to cause a similar effect on the recipient.

I wanted to look further into what Poppets are used for and I ran across a very interesting codex that was entitled “Satan stands for justice.”

The title was off putting, however there was a passage that actually was using the term poppet and homunculus as the same entity. However the poppet made homunculus is able to communicate with its creator and with much work can become a small living being.

If you do not know what the term Homunculus means all you need to know is that a Homunculus is an artificial humanoid created through alchemy. While not quite a human, this creature is a “rational animal” that will be the guinea pig for further experimentation that will be used to fulfill humanity’s dream of mastering life and death.

The idea of willing, into reality or creating a genetic slave has been considered a forbidden science since medieval times.

The Book “Abominable Mixtures”: The Liber Vaccae (the Book of the Cow) in the Medieval West, or The Dangers and Attractions of Natural Magic” demonstrates that something that is similar to genetic engineering must follow certain laws of magic and alchemy. It is suggested that any genetic Sim that is made is seen as the ultimate blasphemy in the eyes of God.

Furthermore, we read that “shaping a mixture of clay, ash, mandrake root, and blood, one can channel rare ritual magic to create a faithful, squirrel-sized companion…”

In the Saturnalian Lodges a definite connection is made between the subject of ‘artificial astral beings’ (Poppets or Homunculi ) and Vampire mythology. It is believed that the Ordo Saturni or the order of Saturn deliberately tried to create a form of astral vampire, which they hoped eventually would incarnate as a being of flesh and blood.

They were actually trying to make a poppet or Homunculus into a child of Nosferatu, sort of the satanic version of Pinnochio.

Even though it is said that the Saturn lodges have never succeeded in achieving the goal of raising the vampire from clay or wax – there is the story of Jack Parsons the founder of JPL and L. Ron Hubbard the founder of Scientology who journeyed into the desert to perform a sex magic ritual to bring forth the Homunculus.

In the 1940’s L. Ron Hubbard and Jack Parsons believed, and knew full well the consequences of their actions. Circumstances dictate that what they did allowed for the arrival of the watchers — the vampiric Nephilim.

The ritual if performed correctly would open up a doorway and allow for the spirit of Babylon to enter a woman during sexual intercourse and the spirit would be that of a demon incarnate.

Parsons believed that while the vortex or stargate was opened he could call down a spiritual entity and direct it into a human womb.

For six days, Parsons and Hubbard camped out into the desert and began a nightly ritual of incantation calling upon the spirits of the darkness to come to them. They would draw pentagrams in the air and wave wands and talisman. During the rituals strong winds would whip up. There was one night during a ritual where their power sources had failed.

Then suddenly there was a moment where Hubbard was struck on the shoulder and a candle was knocked from his hand.

It was then that they observed a brownish yellow light. They estimated that the light was about 7 feet high. Parsons claimed that he then raised a sword that he considered to be a magical sword and the light went away. During the night Hubbard claimed that his arm was numb.

Later there were beings that Hubbard claimed came through a doorway. It was written that Hubbard was able to pin the being back using knives.

It was after the intense rituals that the doorway was opened and Parsons told Hubbard that it was time to find a woman to impregnate. Parsons found a woman who he called Betty and they began the sexual ritual that would impregnate the woman with the demon seed.

Parsons and Hubbard built an altar. With Hubbard acting as high priest the ritual was performed with Parsons having sex with the girl.

After the rituals were performed Parsons was convinced that something had made it through the portal and that it would eventually show itself to mankind.

I also found a spell that is used to activate the being— using it calls upon an unholy trinity to bring life to the Homunculus to do your bidding.

Thou of the Unholy Trinity, help us
Thou who ride faster than the planes, help us
Thou who carry mightier weapons than tanks
and bombs, help me
Thou whose star is white, blot out the Red Star
Thou whose Evil works Good, redeemme,
Thou, the Three Riders of the Night, lighten

Thou, Alchior, Jasper and Balsaboob, lead me and my friends to
to liberation.

What they brought forth is what Aleister Crowley referred to as the “moonchild.”

Hubbard apparently ran off with Betty and eventually married her although he never really was divorced from his previous wife.

Crowley told Parsons that he apparently had fallen victim to a confidence trick. Both Hubbard and Betty, who now took on the name Sara were trying to flee to Miami.

Parsons however was able to catch up with the both of them by using a magic spell.

He performed what was called the invocation of Bartzabel, which kept Hubbard and his new woman from escaping on Hubbard’s yacht. This invocation calls upon the spirit of Mars. There was a sudden storm that overcame the ship and forced Hubbard to sail back to port.

The story itself is hard to believe and yet Parsons has documented it.

The story doesn’t end there. The aftermath of the ritual fires off a mountain of coincidences.

You see this ritual that was performed by Hubbard and Parsons is similar to one performed by Crowley in 1918. In January through March, Crowley began a ritual called the Amalantrah Working in New York City. These were performed in similar fashion as the Babylon Working.

Crowley used sexual & ceremonial Magic in order to invoke a denizen from the ether to manifest in the physical.

He created a portal and through the portal an intelligent being took form. The being was a small, gray, and bald creature. Child like with large eyes. The being was called Lam.

If you look closely the creature looks similar to what some people will identify as an alien gray.

The ritual is known today as the Babylon Working.

The “Babylon Working’s” goal was to re-open or widen an interdimensional portal and allow some horrific demonic entity to fly in and inseminate a female.

Both Parsons and Hubbard agree that something did come in. This ritual allowed full and unimpeded entry of dark forces into our reality.

Since that time the world was never the same.
